I just finished this painting this morning. I am revisiting some ideas I was working with a couple of years ago.
I like it, I think I will do another.

With the coordinating help of Caplan Miller Events, Alisha and Jamie were married earlier this month at Saint Mary’s Cathedral
in downtown Austin, Texas. If you have never been to Saint Mary’s you should take a peek inside next time you are downtown.
It is definitely one of the most beautiful churches in Austin. The ceremony was extra special as it was officiated by both Rabbi
Monty Eliasov as well as Father Bud Roland. The reception was held at The Four Seasons Hotel. With flowers by David Kurio,
and music by the Lucky Strikes and Radio Star, the ballroom was gorgeous and happening, (and I loved the addition of the snow
machine for their first dance). The evening ended with milk and cookies and Amaryllis bulbs for the guests to remember them by.

Leon and I had the pleasure of recently photographing Jenn and Dirk”s wedding at the One World Theater here in Austin, Texas.
Jenn is originally from Texas, but resides now in her husbands homeland of Switzerland. Many of their family and friends made
the journey to attend this beautiful event. We met the wedding party and family prior to the ceremony at the Driskill Hotel to do
photos and then hopped on an Austin Trolley to the One World Theater. When we arrived we found the cake, the flowers, the
linens and the big paper lanterns suspended from the ceiling to be all white. With the addition of candles and twinkle lights
the effect created was one of a winter wonderland; celebratory and warm. The delicious meal was created by Word of Mouth,
the absolutely yummy cake by Simon Lee, and to top it all off a box of Swiss chocolates for each guest. During the reception
there was many toasts and of course dancing, plus a friend surprised them with bag pipe playing.

We shot Jenn and Dirk’s wedding this past weekend. The wedding itself was held at the One World Theater, but we met at
The Driskill Hotel before hand to do some photos. We shot this one out on the balcony. I love it and couldn’t wait until I had
the rest to share it.
