juried exhibit at studio 2 gallery
So both Leon and I have been accepted into this juried exhibit at the studio 2 gallery. Mo Scollan,
(former gallery owner of the 2040 gallery), served as the guest curator. If you have never been to this
gallery check it out. It is on South Lamar, right next to yogayoga south and Holland photo.
Tina Weitz runs the show over there and she is doing a great job.
The opening reception for this exhibit will be on Saturday, February 27th, 6:30-9:30pm.
There will also be a written word event at the gallery on Saturday, March 13th at 5pm.
palette knife
Recently I was working on a photo assignment that had to do with catharsis.
I thought I might photograph something that represented my painting practice.
I then realized I have had this same palette knife since 1983, when I purchased it while studying in Paris.
27 years.
#154 life energy mandala
I just finished this painting this morning. I am revisiting some ideas I was working with a couple of years ago.
I like it, I think I will do another.
